CALTEC Corp. is seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to lead field operations on an active Southern California project.

You will manage day-to-day field activities, coordinate multiple trades, supervise the foreman and self-perform crews, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence across earthwork and demolition scopes. Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of construction field experience with significant civil construction experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Superintendent, Civil Superintendent, General Foreman, or comparable field leader.
• Strong earthwork experience.
• Experience managing foremen and self-perform construction crews.
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades.
• Ability to read and understand civil, grading, utility, architectural, structural, and demolition plans.
• Ability to understand elevations, slopes, grades, dimensions, details, and specifications.
• Experience developing short-term field schedules and production plans.
• Experience coordinating construction inspections and testing.

Responsabilités

• Review subcontractor scopes and understand their field responsibilities.
• Coordinate subcontractor mobilization and sequencing.
• Confirm that subcontractors have adequate manpower and supervision.
• Establish weekly and daily schedule expectations.
• Coordinate access, staging, deliveries, inspections, and work areas.
• Resolve conflicts between subcontractors and self-perform operations.
• Verify that prerequisite work is complete before releasing following trades.
• Monitor subcontractor progress against the project schedule.
• Identify schedule slippage immediately.
• Coordinate testing and inspections.
