Job summary

QTC Inc. in California seeks an experienced Civil Foreman to lead field crews and perform hands-on civil construction work.

The role coordinates daily activities, labor, materials, and equipment to complete projects safely, on schedule, and in accordance with plans and specifications. Ideal candidates have strong civil construction knowledge, proven leadership skills, and accountability for crew performance and workmanship.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of civil construction experience, including foreman/lead experience.
• OSHA construction safety training and First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements.
• Ability to travel to project sites and work overtime as project needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil crews performing site preparation, excavation, trenching, grading, backfill, compaction, and concrete work.
• Review plans and project requirements with Project Manager before mobilization.
• Plan daily activities, assign tasks, and communicate goals to crew members.
• Verify materials, tools, and equipment are available and in working order.
