Qualifications

• Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles and public works inspection methods.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications.
• Ability to prepare and maintain inspection data and reports using computers and tablets; use various software packages.

Responsibilities

• Implement standards and SOPs for construction inspection and reporting activities.
• Complete construction inspection data collection and preparation of reports and letters.
• Monitor projects for compliance with drawings and specifications addressing infrastructure.
• Work in the field at construction sites as a quality assurance representative inspecting construction work.
• Review plans for constructability and clarity; review escrow releases; review as-built drawings.
• Inspect for complaints and provide construction recommendations to address concerns.
• Liaise with residents, township officials, clients and contractor representatives.
• Prepare and deliver Construction Inspection Reports to clients.
• Coordinate with engineering peers and team members; participate in team meetings.
