Job summary

CMTS LLC is seeking a Mechanical Electrical Plumbing Inspector for Aviation & Infrastructure across PA/MD/NJ/DE. The role collaborates with project teams to ensure QA/QC throughout all project phases, inspecting roadway, airfield, utility, drainage, and site development works on public sector projects.

Candidate must have 5–12 years of field inspection experience, strong MEP knowledge, and the ability to read drawings and reports.

Qualifications

• 5–12 years of inspection or MEP construction inspection experience on infrastructure/public projects
• Strong knowledge of MEP construction means, methods, QA/QC practices, and inspection procedures
• Experience inspecting grading, utilities, drainage, paving, and site development
• Ability to read/interpret MEP drawings, specs, schedules, and testing reports
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with MS Office and digital reporting tools
• Familiarity with FAA/DOT/ACI/ASTM/AASHTO standards preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections for MEP infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with plans, specs, codes and quality standards
• Conduct field inspections and site observations to monitor progress, workmanship, materials and contractor compliance
• Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, schedules and testing reports related to QA/QC activities
• Document inspection activities, deficiencies, punch lists and corrective actions in reports and systems
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, engineers, testing laboratories and stakeholders to address quality concerns
• Verify corrective actions and perform follow‑up inspections for compliance
• Monitor contractor compliance with quality control plans, safety standards and project procedures
• Participate in project meetings and support turnover, punch list verification and documentation review
• Maintain organized inspection records, photos and testing documentation in line with project requirements
• Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives across project teams
