Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Construction Engineer for field support on LNG plant projects along the US Gulf Coast. The role offers mobility to other Bechtel Global Business Units as needs arise.

You will review design documents, prepare work packages, manage quantities, support safety and quality, and coordinate with engineering and subcontractors to ensure work meets project requirements. Required bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of related experience (or 6–9 years without a degree); readiness to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent required.
• 2–5 years of related experience or 6–9 years with alternative qualifications.
• Experience in field engineering on heavy industrial or commercial projects is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide field engineering support with work planning and packaging.
• Manage materials, quantities, and documentation for turnover.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate RFIs, field changes, and subcontractor submittals.
• Support turnover activities and subcontract coordination; promote continuous improvement.
