Job summary

Orca Security is seeking a Field CISO / Technical Evangelist to serve as a trusted advisor to CISOs and security leaders, translating cloud security concepts into clear guidance for technical and business audiences.

The ideal candidate combines deep technical credibility with executive presence, helping drive strategic deals, thought leadership, and customer enablement across global markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity leadership experience (e.g., CISO or senior security executive).
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, including trends and vendor landscape.
• Experience in technical product sales and pre/ post‑sale support.
• Proven ability to create and deliver content in webinars, webcasts, interviews, and panels.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform; public speaking to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Advise CISOs and security leaders on reducing business risk using CNAPP capabilities.
• Join executive conversations on architecture, positioning, and objections for strategic deals.
• Represent Orca as a thought leader at conferences and roundtables.
• Relay customer needs and competitive intelligence to Product and Engineering.
• Serve as executive sponsor to Orca's Customer Advisory boards.
• Own customer enablement content strategy and user center strategy.
• Become an expert Orca user with deep knowledge of the console and API.
• Contribute helper scripts and tools to Orca's Github repository.
• Build relationships with CISO communities, analysts, and industry peers.
