Job summary

Solenis is seeking a Chemical Support Engineer to serve as the primary technical resource across the district, ensuring safe, effective, and cost-efficient chemical treatment at customer sites. You will collaborate with Sales Account Managers to design and optimize pulp and paper industry programs.

Responsibilities include routine service visits, troubleshooting, data analysis, and supporting proposals while pursuing growth within existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering or technical discipline.
• Equivalent experience may be considered, including 10+ years in manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine service visits and testing for safe, effective treatment programs.
• Provide technical support and pre-sales expertise to customers and sales team.
• Maintain service records, update databases, and prepare weekly reports.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues at customer sites and communicate actions.
• Contribute technical input for proposals and customer-facing documents.
• Analyze treatment data and recommend improvements.
• Perform routine monitoring and maintenance of feed equipment.
