Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking a part-time chaplain to serve employees and their families in Moorefield, West Virginia. The role involves visiting worksites, offering pastoral support, and coordinating care within a Christian ministry framework.

Qualifications

Strong listening and communication skills for interactions with employees and families.
Ability to deliver community presentations and provide pastoral care in stressful situations.
Demonstrated diplomacy, patience, and courtesy with clients and staff.
Must maintain emotional stability when handling emergencies and suffering.
Ability to analyze information, identify solutions, and follow procedures.
Familiarity with Google Suite or MS Office and basic tech literacy.

Responsibilities

Provide weekly or regular chaplain visits to worksites and employee families.
Offer confidential pastoral discussions and guidance on personal matters.
Assist in arranging funerals and spiritual enrichment activities.
Support employees through crises, grief, and life events; coordinate with resources.
Represent the ministry to clients and participate in new employee orientation.
