Field Channel Account Manager - AMD

About the AMD - HP Field Channel Account Manager:

MarketStar is looking for a Field Channel Account Manager to support our new AMD-HP Alliance team and NSP/DMR partnerships. The Field Channel Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining relationships with partners, managing pipeline, and increasing sales for our client.

Location: AZ - Remote

What Will You Do?

  • Provide support to AMD-related pre-sales questions for account managers and customers.
  • Conduct regular onsite visits to designated accounts on the target list.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Develop joint business plans with partners to outline objectives and strategies.
  • Provide tools, resources, and training to partners to help them sell AMD products or services effectively.
  • Track, monitor, and analyze partner performance against agreed-upon metrics.
  • Own and manage a pipeline of opportunities within CAM’s accounts, identifying AMD revenue and strategic markets/customers.
  • Deliver AMD revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis, as agreed upon between AMD and the supplier.
  • Conduct training for supplier personnel on AMD products and provide regular feedback on tool effectiveness.
  • Submit weekly/monthly reports to AMD on business status, analyze performance data, and deliver trend analysis to recognize strengths and growth opportunities.

What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • Strong understanding and experience in a reseller environment with NSP/DMR channel sales.
  • College degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • Solid experience conducting presentations or trainings, selling and educating others on a product or solution.
  • Sales experience with the ability to manage a pipeline.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
  • Coachability with a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Well organized and detail-oriented with good time management skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

The salary range for this position is between $75,000.00 and $80,000.00 annually. This pay structure may also include a variable bonus component of $10,000.00 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
