Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications from a State Highway Agency or NICET/ACI in earthwork, asphalt, and concrete if required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 6 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performing complex and routine inspections to ensure materials and processes meet plans and provisions.
• Uses advanced equipment and performs complex calculations for inspection.
• Works under limited or direct supervision depending on knowledge.
• Reviews drawings to prepare for inspection.
• Understands construction designs and communicates results to supervisor.
