Qualifications

• Verbal and written English communication required.

• Ability to quickly learn new computer/applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of traffic control, environmental controls, layout, construction methods and materials under direct supervision.
• Review contractor day-to-day work and accept/reject daily reports; verify QC procedures and material testing per plan.
• Review material testing procedures and results for conformance to contract; measure quantities of materials placed.
• May conduct sampling and in-place testing of soil, aggregate base, concrete, and asphalt pavements.
