Job summary

Sequoia Communications is seeking a hands-on cable installer to join our field team, focusing on installing and inspecting cellular and land mobile radio infrastructure. You will read design docs, communicate with customers, and ensure reliable, high‑performing networks in diverse environments.

The role involves multi-site travel, working in construction settings, and collaborating with small teams to deliver quality installations and testing outcomes.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% for multi-state projects.
• Ability to work with limited supervision in field environments.
• Comfort with working on ladders, in confined spaces and outdoors in varying weather.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and translate into installation plans.
• Work in active construction environments following blueprints and safety protocols.
• Operate MEWPs safely to install cables.
• Install cables in commercial/industrial spaces and remove obsolete cables.
• Use RF testing equipment to verify system performance and coverage.
