Job summary

Crown Innovations seeks a Communications Electronics Installation Technician for our nationwide field operations. You will install and integrate complete communications facilities, including infrastructure, grounding, cabling, radios, and related systems, traveling to sites across the United States.

The role requires substantial travel (100%), working with FAA personnel, and coordinating with installation and construction crews in the field.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must obtain a federal security clearance.
• Associate’s Degree or completion of a two-year technical training or certification plus minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Ability to generate FAA documentation including FRDF.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, align, test, and troubleshoot VHF and UHF radios and associated communication systems.
• Setup and support Radio Control Equipment (RCE).
• Connect and integrate Telco requirements including Commercial Telco, RCL, Field Cable, and Fiber Optics.
• Install new radio racks, radios, and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE).
• Perform baseline electronic readings and generate required documentation including FRDF per FAA Handbooks.
• Interface with FAA Air Traffic and Technical Operations during installations.
