Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking Building Science + Infrastructure Technicians to join our field teams. You will observe and perform routine field tests and observations on per-project assignments, contributing to high-quality, documented results.

This on-site role involves outdoor work in varying weather, coordinating with ECS staff and clients, calibrating equipment, maintaining field tools, and supporting report production and light office tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or technical degree preferred in civil/architectural engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Professional certifications such as NRCA, IIBEC, AWCI Certified EIFS Inspector and/or ICC certifications are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Testing and observations for new construction, building enclosure, forensic investigations, and related services.
• Perform field and laboratory testing and observations.
• Communicate with ECS technicians, project managers, principals, clients and site representatives.
• Attend project meetings with ECS staff or clients as requested.
• Document test results and observations in reports.
• Calibrate and use field equipment; maintain and organize field tools.
• Incidental duties may include office clerical tasks and report production assistance.
• Other duties as requested.
