Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a Sales Associate in Seattle to support sales, merchandising and distribution goals across assigned accounts. You will effectively sell, rotate and merchandise the portfolio and provide route relief for Sales Representatives as scheduled, while interacting with internal teams and customers.

You will maintain industry knowledge on beer, non-alcoholic items, and market trends, and manage programs to meet supplier standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance; minimum age 21.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Effectively sell, rotate and merchandise the portfolio in all assigned accounts.
• Provide route relief for Sales Representatives as scheduled.
• Interact respectfully with inter-company departments, suppliers and customers.
• Establish and maintain industry knowledge: beer, non-alcoholic, food journals and trends.
• Maintain themed programs to meet supplier and company standards.
• Submit required reporting, preplans, trackers and surveys by due date.
• Manage inventory expenses per policy.
• Travel to customer accounts as needed.
