Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a Sales Associate to support sales, merchandising and distribution goals in the South Sound, Washington area. You will help execute business objectives and company initiatives while engaging with customers and partners throughout the day.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to travel regionally. Beverage industry sales experience is preferred; the position is full-time with varied hours, including weekends,

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required; Minimum of 21 years of age.
Bachelor’s degree and 1 year beverage industry sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Sell, rotate and merchandise the Columbia Distributing portfolio in all assigned accounts.
Provide route relief for Sales Representatives as scheduled.
Interact respectfully with inter-company departments, suppliers and customers.
Establish knowledge of industry trends, market share, and product lines.
Maintain themed programs to meet supplier and company standards.
Submit required reporting, preplans, trackers, and surveys on time.
Manage inventory expenses per company policy.
Understand MVP Standards and monitor competitive activity.
Communicate strategies based on competitive activity.
