Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a Sales Associate to support sales, merchandising and distribution goals by executing business objectives and company initiatives.

You will sell, rotate and merchandise products in assigned accounts, provide route relief, build relationships with customers, and maintain knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and market trends. This full-time role requires a valid driver's license and willingness to travel, with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required; minimum of 21 years of age.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell, rotate and merchandise the Columbia Distributing portfolio in all assigned accounts.
• Provide route relief for Sales Representatives as scheduled.
• Interact with inter-company departments, suppliers and customers.
• Establish and maintain knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic beverages, food trends and market share.
• Maintain themed programs to meet supplier and company standards.
• Submit required reporting, preplans, trackers, surveys, MVPs, expense reports, mileage logs on time.
• Manage inventory expenses per company policy.
• Understand and assist MVP Standards.
• Monitor competitive activity and communicate strategies.
