Job summary

Columbia Distributing is hiring for Sales Associates in Washington to drive sales, merchandising, and distribution goals. You will assist in executing business objectives and company initiatives while engaging with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.
• Minimum age 21.

Responsibilities

• Sell, rotate and merchandise the Columbia Distributing portfolio in accounts.
• Provide route relief for Sales Representatives as scheduled.
• Interact with inter-company departments, suppliers and customers.
• Maintain knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic beverages, food journals, trends and market share.
• Maintain themed programs to meet supplier and company standards.
• Submit reporting, preplans, trackers, surveys, market surveys, expense reports and mileage logs by the due date.
• Manage inventory expenses per company policy.
• Understand MVP Standards.
• Monitor competitive activity and communicate strategies.
