Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures seeks a Beverage Equipment Service Tech A to repair and service beverage equipment within an assigned territory, delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring PBV standards. You will learn PBV operations and industry equipment, adhering to safety and governmental guidelines.

The role requires travel to accounts, diagnostics, and ongoing maintenance of equipment, with responsibilities that include managing parts and using handheld devices for accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years’ experience in beverage equipment repair or related field (small appliance, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration).
• Coursework in aforementioned fields may substitute for experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Able to travel daily to assigned accounts; overnight travel may be required.
• Understanding of electrical components, electronics, plumbing, refrigeration, and related repair.
• Ability to use SAP, IFS, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provides “Service that Sells.” Interacts with customers daily to diagnose, educate and support while ensuring customer expectations and PBV business objectives are met.
• Maintains and manages equipment, including diagnostics, repair, and testing components using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic testing equipment.
• Meets Pepsi-Cola North America quality objectives, including Preventative Maintenance and Reactive Repair to drive revenue.
• Uses Hand-held Computer to ensure accuracy of call detail, parts management, equipment location, and work performed.
• Reviews daily activity to re-assign work within territory.
• Manages and controls truck operation, cleanliness, and parts inventory; meets commercial vehicle regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
