Job summary

Toyota Lift Northwest in Oregon is seeking a driven Business Development Representative to join our Sales team serving the Salem and Eugene areas. The BDR will focus on cold calling to uncover new business and work with senior Account Managers to develop leads and sell materials handling equipment.

The role is field-based, requiring travel within the territory, with opportunities to sell pallet trucks, catalog items, and rental equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 2 years sales experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Willing to travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Make thirty cold-call contacts per day, for a minimum of three days per week.
• Identify business opportunities through resources and networking. Network with commercial real estate companies and Chambers of Commerce.
• Generate sales leads through literature drops, mail, e-mail and campaigns.
• Increase market awareness through warm calling.
• Create and manage prospective customer database.
• Collaborate with Marketing to develop new customers.
