Job summary

Concentric Power Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair motive power equipment at customer sites. The role requires basic troubleshooting, on-site and shop repairs, and timely response to customer needs.

The technician reports to a Service Manager or Lead Technician and travels to support installations and repairs across branches. A technical background and strong problem-solving skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required as minimum.
• Technical certification in electrical, mechanical repair or battery maintenance preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus but not required.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Basic AC/DC electrical theory knowledge required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair motive power equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot.
• Coordinate with Technical Support, Customer Service, Sales for repairs.
• Travel to other branches or sites; some overnight travel.
• Comply with safety and DOT regulations; wear PPE as required.
• Build strong relationships with customers and document work orders.
