Job summary

Concentric is seeking a Field Technician, Motive Power, to inspect, maintain, and repair motive power equipment across sites. The role involves troubleshooting, field and shop repairs, and coordinating with Support, Service, and Sales to expedite repairs.

The candidate should have strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and travel as needed. DOT regulations may apply; CDL is a plus. Benefits are provided for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must have high school level education or GED.
• Associate degree from a two-year college or university, preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills are essential.
• Ability to organize own work and work independently with limited supervision.
• CDL is a plus but not required; DOT requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair motive power equipment.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate repairs with Technical Support, Customer Service and Sales.
• Travel to other branches/sites; some overnight travel required.
• Respond to client needs promptly with strong customer service.
• Complete service orders, PM worksheets and timekeeping accurately.
• Work independently or with a team in a professional manner.
