Job summary

Concentric is seeking a Field Technician, Motive Power, to inspect, maintain, and repair motive power equipment at customer sites. This role reports to the Regional Service Manager and involves troubleshooting, basic repairs, and coordinating with Support and Sales to meet client needs.

The position requires high school or GED, plus technical training or an associate degree, and may include overnight travel. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass DOT requirements are expected.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Certification from a technical school focused on electrical, mechanical repair or battery maintenance preferred.
• Associate degree from an approved two‑year college or university, preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Work safely, follow all safety regulations, including site specific safety regulations established by customers.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Coordinate problem resolution with Technical Support, Customer Service, Sales, and other personnel to expedite repairs.
• Travel to other branches or sites, as required, to assist with product installation, removal or repairs (some overnight travel will be required).
• Respond to client needs in a timely manner, while applying great customer service.
