Job summary

Aspiranet is seeking a compassionate Support Counselor II for the TBS program in Antioch, CA. You will work with at-risk youth and families in home or community settings to implement treatment plans and help youth thrive.

Responsibilities include traveling to client sites, building strong relationships, and documenting progress while collaborating with social workers and clinicians. A BA/BS or 2 years in behavioral health is required.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree in a related field or 2 full time equivalent years experience in a behavioral health related field.
• Meets all state-required employment conditions including DOJ fingerprint, Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health physical, valid CA Driver's License and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes or community settings to coach and guide at-risk youth.
• Build a strong, positive, caring relationship to create a safe space for clients.
• Document and share treatment plans with team members, attend staff meetings and trainings, and perform related duties.
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients and staff.
