Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. seeks a Consulting Utility Forester to manage vegetation for utility clients in outdoor settings. You will conduct inventories, inspections, and planning for safe, compliant vegetation management across service areas.

Qualified candidates have forestry education, ISA pathway or certification goals, and a valid driver's license. The role requires travel, field data collection, and collaboration with property owners and contractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field required.
• Experience with utility line clearance preferred.
• Ability to obtain ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners & public agencies regarding pruning/removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories.
• Conduct hazard tree inspections and evaluations.
• Plan work for tree contractors.
• Gather and manage field data (species, size, distance).
• Verify data across databases and ensure reporting accuracy.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards.
• Enforce on-the-job safety practices.
• Service trucks and equipment as needed.
