Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Summer 2027 Process Engineer Intern to join the Supply Chain Operations team at our Bentonville, AR location. The internship offers hands-on project work focused on design, analysis, and improvement of processes within DC/FC/CC environments.

Interns will experience cross-functional collaboration, exposure to Walmart Performance System (WPS) initiatives, and a structured development path over an 11-week period. Relocation housing support may be provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program currently.
• Expected graduation date between December 2027—August 2028.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve engineered solutions.
• Use a process-driven and methodical mindset to improve processes and eliminate losses.
• Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities to reduce process variation.
• Assist in developing and implementing standard work practices.
• Support Walmart Performance System (WPS) initiatives and process improvement projects.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, propose solutions, and demonstrate business impact.
• Contribute to projects that improve efficiency and drive savings across Supply Chain.
