Job summary

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or prior experience in Process Improvement, OR 2 years of process improvement or relevant work experience.

• Preferred: Co-Op/Internship in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Distribution with experience applying basic Lean/Continuous Improvement Tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement projects using 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time-and-motion studies to reduce losses in a distribution center.
• Deliver functional-area results through KPI analysis, loss elimination, and standard work creation to reduce process variation.
• Assist with reviewing and responding to process improvement projects owned by area managers.
• Apply network One Best Way playbooks and provide input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams on project ideation and replication opportunities.
• Support tactical deployment of the Walmart Performance System (WPS) methodology.
• Manage execution of projects addressing top losses and help build capability among area managers and associates.
• Support loss profile analysis, performance metrics, and gap analysis for WPS integration.
• Support Department Managers with WPS programs, projects, associate engagement, and KPI improvements.
• Lead savings projects by removing losses from processes.
• Coordinate and oversee job-related activities and assignments, stakeholder relationships, plans, goals, accountability, progress measurement, and improvement opportunities.
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates through hiring, training, mentoring, duty assignment, recognition, and fostering belonging.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support Walmart's mission, values, ethics, and integrity standards.
