Job summary

FOODMatch is seeking an energetic, relationship-driven person to join our Specialty Retail Sales team in Dallas. You don't need prior sales experience; we'll teach you the sales side while you share your passion for specialty foods with retailers, distributors, and customers.

In this field-based role, you will build strong relationships, pitch FOODMatch products, visit customers, and develop accounts across a multi-state territory with significant travel.

Qualifications

• Background in the food industry is preferred, with a passion for specialty foods.
• Willing to learn sales and develop a long-term career in field sales.
• Outgoing, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in the field.
• Excellent relationship-building and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with specialty food retailers, distributors, brokers, and customers.
• Introduce and pitch FOODMatch products.
• Support existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.
• Spend time in the field visiting customers and working with distribution partners.
• Learn selling techniques, present products, develop accounts, and manage a territory.
• Participate in product trainings, customer meetings, food shows, and industry events.
• Develop strong knowledge of the FOODMatch portfolio.
• Work closely with an experienced sales team to develop commercial skills.
