Job summary

HomeSafe Florida seeks a Social Emotional Supports Coach to provide targeted support to daycare centers in Palm Beach County. You will train educators, observe classrooms, model behavior strategies, and lead social skills groups in the field.

Role requires flexible daytime and evening hours to fit client schedules, with collaboration to develop classroom support plans and data-driven interventions, plus ongoing documentation and outreach activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Psychology or Early Childhood Education or related field.
• 2+ years’ experience in behavior management or early childhood classroom support.
• At least 1 year of experience in a childcare setting or relevant experience.
• Schedule includes occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Bilingual English/Creole required.
• Valid Florida driver’s license required.
• Successful completion of a background check through Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Provide educator training, classroom observations, behavior strategy modeling, and social skills groups at assigned childcare centers.
• Collaborate with childcare centers to assess needs and develop classroom support plans that promote positive social-emotional development.
• Conduct screenings and assessments to identify risks, strengths, and client needs, and recommend appropriate services and interventions.
• Apply evidence-based frameworks, including Circle of Security and Conscious Discipline, to support educators and children.
• Maintain accurate program documentation and data, track outcomes, build community partnerships, and participate in trainings, meetings, and outreach activities.
