Job summary

The Agency for Health Care Administration in Florida is seeking a Senior Human Services Program Specialist to help enhance the delivery of health care services through the Florida Medicaid Program.

You will plan and conduct on-site New Provider Enrollment Reviews and validate re-enrollment reviews to ensure providers meet enrollment requirements, including licenses, business tax receipts, and lease information.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Medicaid arena, Medicaid policies, and Medicaid procedures.
• Skills to utilize computer equipment/software and analyze data.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to travel with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct on-site New Provider Enrollment Reviews.
• Validate re-enrollment reviews of current Medicaid providers.
• Verify licenses, business tax receipts, and lease information.
• Coordinate with Medicaid providers, Headquarters staff, and plans.
