Job summary

HC Beauty is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to grow the Virginia market and pursue leads in West Virginia as needed. This is a field-based outside sales role for someone who thrives on prospecting, creating opportunity, and closing high-potential salon accounts.

The right person will build a qualified pipeline, win new business, and grow strategic accounts by helping salon owners increase profitability through HC Beauty's products, education, tools, and business support.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of outside sales or business development experience.
• Proven ability to prospect, open, and grow new accounts.
• Strong relationship-building and closing skills.
• Comfortable spending significant time in the field.
• Self-starter with ownership and accountability.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Beauty industry experience is a plus; sales background matters most.

Responsibilities

• Prospect consistently to open new salon accounts.
• Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities.
• Conduct in-person meetings with salon owners and decision-makers.
• Develop relationships that lead to long-term strategic partnerships.
• Close new business and support account growth after onboarding.
• Execute territory plans that expand HC Beauty's presence in the Virginia market.
• Identify high-potential accounts and prioritize time accordingly.
• Maintain strong follow-up and pipeline discipline.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer experience and account support.
• Represent HC Beauty professionally in the field and at industry events as needed.
• Track activity, opportunities, and outcomes accurately.
