Job summary
Right At Home - Northwest Homecare & Staffing Services is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Delegator to perform nurse delegation services for clients in the Seattle and Tacoma metro areas. This field-based, per diem/contract role involves assessing care needs, delegating tasks to qualified caregivers, and providing ongoing supervision to ensure safe, high-quality home care.
Ideal candidates hold an active WA RN license (or Multistate/Compact), have home health experience, excellent documentation
Qualifications
- Active Washington RN license or Multistate/Compact RN license.
- Prior experience in home health, private duty nursing, long-term care, or community-based care settings preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills.
- Willingness to travel to client homes across Seattle and Tacoma service areas.
- Current CPR certification and reliable transportation with valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-home client assessments to determine delegation suitability.
- Verify client condition stability before delegation.
- Develop written delegation instructions for each task.
- Teach and verify caregiver competency before delegating a task.
- Provide ongoing supervision and reassessment per state requirements.
