Job summary

Kline Galland is seeking an experienced Nurse Delegator (RN) for per diem hours in Seattle, WA. The role focuses on leading the Private Duty Nurse Delegation Program, delegating nursing tasks, and supervising caregivers to ensure safe, compliant home-based care for seniors.

The candidate will develop care plans, train staff, and collaborate with families and external care teams, while maintaining documentation and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington state
• Minimum 2 years RN experience with WA regulations and delegation requirements
• 2+ years in home care, assisted living, or geriatric care
• 2+ years as RN Delegator preferred
• Experience in performance management, staff development, and program implementation
• Current CPR and BLS certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365

Responsibilities

• Delegation & supervision: assess patients, delegate nursing tasks, observe caregivers per state guidelines.
• Clinical care management: develop care plans, assess health status, delegate tasks.
• Training & competency: orient and train caregivers.
• Compliance & documentation: maintain adherence to WA regulations and standards.
• On-call support: provide phone or in-person clinical assistance.
• Communication & partnership: build relationships with clients, families, staff, and external care teams
