Kline Galland is seeking an experienced Nurse Delegator (RN) for per diem hours in Seattle, WA. The role focuses on leading the Private Duty Nurse Delegation Program, delegating nursing tasks, and supervising caregivers to ensure safe, compliant home-based care for seniors.

The candidate will develop care plans, train staff, and collaborate with families and external care teams, while maintaining documentation and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington state
• Minimum 2 years RN experience with WA regulations and delegation requirements
• 2+ years in home care, assisted living, or geriatric care
• 2+ years as RN Delegator preferred
• Experience in performance management, staff development, and program implementation
• Current CPR and BLS certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365

Responsibilities

Kline Galland Home Care, part of Benaroya Services, is seeking an experienced and mission‑driven Nurse Delegator (RN) (estimate 16-20 hours/week) to lead our Private Duty Nurse Delegation Program. We are a locally owned home‑care agency dedicated to providing compassionate, high‑quality care to seniors and individuals who need extra caregiving support in their home setting. We are looking for an exceptional nurse to join our team, perform nurse delegation, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Delegation & Supervision: Assess patients, delegate nursing tasks, and conduct on‑site observation/supervision of caregivers at intervals compliant with state guidelines, and more frequently as needed.
• Clinical Care Management: Develop and update nursing care plans, assess patient health status, and delegate clinical tasks.
• Training & Competency: Orient and train caregivers.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain compliance with all Washington State regulations and organizational standards.
• On‑Call Support: Provide phone or in‑person support to staff to manage clinical emergencies.
• Communication and Partnership: Build strong relationships with clients, families, staff, and external partners such as assisted living and SNF care teams.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Washington.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with working knowledge of WA healthcare regulations and RN delegation requirements.
• Minimum 2 years proven experience in home care, assisted living, or geriatric care.
• 2+ years of experience as an RN Delegator strongly preferred.
• Experience in performance management, staff development, and program implementation.
• Current CPR and BLS certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
