Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare’s Charlotte ACTT team is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-intensity behavioral health nursing services in the community. This field-based role emphasizes building relationships, promoting recovery, and supporting individuals with severe mental illness.

Accepted candidates will join a hospital-without-walls model, providing care outside traditional settings. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, a company vehicle, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina.
• Strong communication, organization and critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in behavioral health or community nursing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate client care and collaborate with physicians, providers, and treatment team members.
• Monitor medication compliance and administer IM injections as prescribed.
• Manage medication inventory, refills, and nursing supplies.
• Record vital signs and assist providers during client appointments.
• Complete AIMS assessments on admission and periodically.
• Provide medication education to clients, families, and ACTT staff.
• Transport clients to medical appointments and community resources as needed.
• Deliver nursing services in community settings around Charlotte.
• Participate in rotating crisis response and on-call coverage.
