Job summary

Vertosa, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Production Technician to support mobile manufacturing across markets. You will operate in field environments, set up mobile lab systems, follow SOPs, and ensure strict QA/QC while traveling between partner facilities.

Based in the SF Bay Area, you will travel 50–75% of the time, document activities, and collaborate with on-site teams to maintain quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, or related field with equivalent experience.
• Ability to execute complex procedures with high accuracy.
• Experience with lab equipment setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Proven ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute production at Vertosa facilities and partner locations nationwide, following SOPs to deliver compliant, on-spec products.
• Set up, validate, and operate mobile lab systems at partner facilities for efficient production.
• Ensure ingredients meet QA/QC standards and maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
• Adapt production execution to changing facilities while upholding SOPs and quality standards.
• Document all production activities, including batch records and logs, in required systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and escalate complex issues to protect quality and equipment.
• Own teardown, packing, and outbound shipment of mobile lab equipment.
• Serve as Vertosa’s on-site representative with professional conduct.
• Exercise sound judgment; halt production or reject materials if standards risk.
• Travel across markets to support production and operations.
• Ad-hoc responsibilities as requested by management.
