Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Quality Director to serve as the PMO Director for a large, complex utility capital program. This role establishes and leads program governance, quality systems, performance reporting, and execution excellence across multiple projects.

The position is field-based with travel across the United States, requiring strategic oversight of performance, schedule, cost, and risk mitigation to ensure client objectives and regulatory compliance are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a closely related technical discipline required.
• Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in program or project management, quality management, engineering, or utility infrastructure.
• Minimum 10 years of leadership experience managing large multidisciplinary teams and complex capital programs.
• Proven PMO leadership on large-scale utility, energy, or infrastructure programs.
• Experience developing and implementing quality management systems and governance frameworks.
• Experience with utility clients and executive stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the PMO supporting a large utility infrastructure program.
• Establish governance frameworks, procedures, standards, and metrics.
• Develop and implement program-wide quality management strategies.
• Facilitate executive reviews and governance meetings.
• Ensure alignment with contracts, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• Provide oversight of performance, schedule, cost, and risk mitigation.
