Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Senior Project Quality Manager to lead the site quality program on industrial EPC projects across facilities in the southern US. The role requires hands-on leadership, development of PQMPs, and effective interface with clients and regulators.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in construction quality, strong ISO 9001 knowledge, and a proven track record of implementing quality management systems across mechanical, electrical, and civil scopes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in construction quality management, ideally with mechanical, electrical, and civil scopes.
• Experience in Solar, Natural Gas, Oil/Gas, industrial, or large EPC projects.
• Minimum 3+ years in a supervisory/management role.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ASME, API, NEC standards.
• Proven ability to develop and execute Quality Management programs from scratch.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational and team-building skills.
• Proficiency with digital quality management systems, reporting tools, and audit software.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Management Plans (PQMPs) tailored to project requirements.
• Lead QA/QC initiatives across multiple construction sites ensuring conformance with specifications and codes.
• Supervise and mentor Quality Control Inspectors and Quality Engineers; manage a team.
• Conduct audits, inspections, nonconformance reviews, and root-cause analyses.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and subcontractors on quality objectives.
• Interface with clients, third-party agencies, and regulatory bodies on quality requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and report quality performance and trends.
• Lead CI efforts and manage CAPA activities.
• Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and retention of quality records.
