Job summary

Mindful Health Solutions is seeking an Physician Outreach Specialist in the San Francisco Bay Area to grow physician referral networks and lead community outreach, patient education events, and strategic outreach plans. You will spend significant time in the field meeting providers, attending events, and collaborating with clinic operations, marketing, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of three years’ experience working with physicians/providers or medical practices.
• Working knowledge of PHI and HIPAA and healthcare compliance.
• Outgoing personality with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter who works well in a fast-paced, detail-oriented team environment.
• Must be located in the San Francisco area and willing to travel 50–75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Identify referral sources and grow physician referrals through on-site visits, networking events, community functions, and patient education/outreach events.
• Support growth metrics for clinics (e.g., consults, new patient starts, no-show rates).
• Develop and implement strategic plans to increase referrals and respond to market trends.
• Lead community events and act as primary contact with local groups and organizations.
• Document daily visits and relationships in the CRM.
• Recommend service enhancements based on market feedback in collaboration with managers.
• Maintain knowledge of Mindful Health Solutions offerings and value proposition.
• Monitor competitor activities in the area.
• Coordinate with front office, patient intake, marketing, and other departments.
