Job summary

Amgen’s Medical Affairs team in San Francisco invites a Medical Science Liaison focusing on obesity and related conditions to join a field-based role within the U.S. Medical team, reporting to a Field Director.

You will engage with Opinion Leaders, Population Health Decision Makers, and healthcare providers, communicate scientific data, and support Amgen’s research and product strategy while ensuring compliance and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, or Master’s with Medical Affairs experience, or Bachelor’s with experience.
• Pharmacist/PhD/MD strongly preferred.
• Experience in cardiometabolic/obesity fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary scientific resource to OLs and PHDMs.
• Support sponsored research and liaise with investigators.
• Communicate scientific data and health outcomes to stakeholders.
