Job summary

Amgen in Seattle/WA seeks a Medical Science Liaison focused on Obesity and Related Conditions. You will serve as the primary clinical resource to leaders and healthcare providers, executing medical strategy and sharing data to improve patient outcomes.

This field-based role reports to an Obesity MSL Field Director. Responsibilities include peer-to-peer engagement, investigator collaboration, communicating data within compliant guidelines, and supporting research, congress activities, and speaker

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree (PhD, MD, DO, or equivalent).
• Master’s degree with 3+ years Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs and healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy under MSL leadership.
• Engage with investigators and sites to support obesity and related conditions.
• Communicate scientific data to improve patient outcomes and balance clinical value.
• Lead or support congress activities and speaker training as needed.
• Maintain compliance with MSL standards and manage administrative tasks.

Education

Doctorate degree
