Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison for the Cardiovascular Metabolic area in Illinois. This field-based role will engage with cardiometabolic leaders and payers to communicate data and advance the scientific platform in alignment with Amgen's goals.

The position emphasizes collaboration, clinical expertise, and cross-functional partnerships to drive patient outcomes and access strategies across Central Illinois.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in a relevant field or healthcare discipline.
• Masters degree with 3 years Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Interact with cardiometabolic key opinion leaders and decision-makers to share scientific platform aligned with Amgen goals.
• Educate payers, providers, and partners on clinical value, outcomes, and economic data.
• Provide clinical and economic support to payers, IDNs, and formulary committees.
• Lead or participate on project teams supporting MSL strategies and tactics.
• Contribute to congress activities and speaker training when needed.
