Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison focused on Cardiovascular Metabolic for the Illinois Territory. You will interact with cardiovascular thought leaders and healthcare decision-makers to communicate scientific data and advance Amgen’s clinical platform in alignment with organizational goals.

You will educate payers, providers, and internal teams on clinical value, outcomes, and health economic data while developing local operating plans and supporting investigator-sponsored studies as

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications include Doctorate, Master’s with 3 years Medical Affairs experience, or Bachelor’s with 5 years Medical Affairs experience.
• Preferred qualifications include Pharm. D., Ph.D., M.D., or D.O. and 5+ years of industry experience in Scientific or Medical Affairs.

Responsibilities

• Interact with cardiometabolic opinion leaders to communicate and advance scientific platform.
• Educate and communicate clinical value, outcomes, and economic data to payers and providers.
• Support payer strategies, fee-for-service, and formulary discussions with internal teams.
• Lead local engagement plans, speaker training, and congress activities as delegated by MSL leadership.
