Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (Cardiovascular Metabolic) to cover Central Illinois in a field-based role. You will engage with cardiometabolic thought leaders and healthcare decision-makers to communicate and advance the scientific platform, aligned with Amgen's goals and objectives.

This is a pivotal role within the US Medical team that supports science-based care. You will educate and inform payers, providers, and IDNs on clinical and economic value, provide data-backed insights,

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree required or Doctorate with Medical Affairs experience preferred.
• Master's degree with 3+ years Medical Affairs experience or bachelor's with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience.
• Cardio-metabolic expertise preferred and pharmaceutical/biotech industry background beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Interact with cardiometabolic thought leaders and healthcare decision-makers to communicate and advance scientific platform.
• Educate and inform payers, providers, and IDNs on clinical value, outcomes, and economic data.
• Provide clinical and economic support to payers, IDNs, and formulary committees; share insights with internal teams.
