Job summary

Clover Health is seeking Certified Medical Assistants for a full-time, field-based role in New Jersey, with daily travel to member homes. Candidates must reside in or near covered NJ counties.

You will work with providers to support patients with complex healthcare needs, delivering high-quality, personalized, community-based care. This role is a full-time, Monday through Friday position, with opportunities for graduated pay based on CMA certification and experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum one year of healthcare experience.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based care setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with providers during in-home visits.
• Gather medical histories and patient information.
• Obtain vital signs and provide clinical support.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Support patient education and engagement.
• Assist in closing preventive and chronic care gaps.
• Document care activities within EMR systems.
• Coordinate pre-visit and post-visit activities.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for field visits.
• Travel across assigned counties to support patient care.
