Job summary

Clover Health is hiring Certified Medical Assistants for full-time, field-based roles in New Jersey. You will travel to patients’ homes to support clinicians, collect histories, vital signs, and specimens, and help close care gaps. Both CMA and non-certified MAs are welcome, with certification support provided.

Roles emphasize compassionate, community-based care and collaboration with providers to improve health outcomes for Medicare members.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum one year of healthcare experience.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based care setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with providers during in-home patient visits.
• Gather medical histories and patient information.
• Obtain vital signs and perform clinical support activities.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Support patient education and engagement.
• Assist in closing preventive and chronic care gaps.
• Document care activities within EMR systems.
• Coordinate pre-visit and post-visit activities.
• Travel throughout assigned counties and service areas to support patient care.
