Job summary

Clover Health is seeking Certified Medical Assistants for a full-time, field-based role in New Jersey. You will travel to patients' homes daily, gather histories, take vital signs, perform phlebotomy, and support care coordination alongside providers.

Eligible candidates include CMA, RMA, CCMA holders or those pursuing certification with potential pay increases upon certification. Bilingual English/Spanish is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Minimum one year of healthcare experience.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with electronic health records.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based care setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Partner with providers during in-home patient visits.
• Gather medical histories and patient information.
• Obtain vital signs and perform clinical support activities.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Support patient education and engagement.
• Assist in closing preventive and chronic care gaps.
• Document care activities within EMR systems.
• Coordinate pre-visit and post-visit activities.
• Maintain supplies and equipment needed for field visits.
• Travel throughout assigned counties and service areas to support patient care.
