Job summary
Clover Health seeks Certified Medical Assistants for a full-time, field-based role in New Jersey. You will travel to patients' homes daily, supporting providers with complex care needs and improving outcomes through personalized, community-based care.
New grads and uncertified MAs are welcome; CMA/RMA/CCMA start at higher rates, uncertified learners can earn certification for a pay increase.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Minimum one year of healthcare experience.
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Experience with electronic health records.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based care setting.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
Responsibilities
- Partner with providers during in-home patient visits.
- Gather medical histories and patient information.
- Obtain vital signs and perform clinical support activities.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
- Support patient education and engagement.
- Assist in closing preventive and chronic care gaps.
- Document care activities within EMR systems.
- Coordinate pre-visit and post-visit activities.
- Maintain supplies and equipment needed for field visits.
- Travel throughout assigned counties and service areas to support patient care.
