Stay Awhile Villas LLC is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our luxury hospitality group, overseeing upkeep across high-end vacation rental properties in Malibu. This hands-on, field-based role requires travel between properties to uphold our standards and guest experiences.

The ideal candidate is organized, problem-solving, tech-savvy, and comfortable around VIP guests. Schedule includes weekends; in-person work location is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, handyman work, or related trades (plumbing/electrical/HVAC/carpentry).
• Strong problem-solving and knowledge of home systems.
• Polished, professional demeanor; comfortable around VIP guests.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance: repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general upkeep.
• Routine inspections; identify issues and flag risks.
• Work orders: respond quickly and prioritize urgency.
• Vendor coordination; manage external contractors when needed.
• Record keeping via maintenance systems (CMMS).
• Fabrication: modify or create parts when required.
• Safety: maintain compliant and safe work environments.
