Job summary

You’ll manage vendor contracts, support preventative maintenance, and aid in budgeting. The role requires travel around the property and on-call duties; a strong local network is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in student housing or multi-family maintenance.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• EPA Certification Type I & II required.
• CPO certification required or able to obtain within 6 months.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use a ladder.
• Must live within 30 miles and have reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and lead maintenance team with training and development.
• Prioritize and QC work orders; monitor daily completions.
• Supervise high-level trade work (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Obtain vendor proposals, negotiate pricing, and supervise work.
• Turnover units and prepare them for new residents.
• Execute preventative maintenance to preserve curb appeal.
• Assist maintenance budget, inventory control, and cost management.
• Coordinate construction projects with Facilities team and vendors.
• Maintain organized work areas and participate in on-call duties.
